ONE gift from this list of TEN will work for everyone on your list this year!
It's that time of year again! We all have that one (or five) people in our circles that are just impossible to buy for.
Never fear! I have created a list that is sure to have at least one gift that will work for every difficult person on your list!
1. For your outgoing, fun-loving friend that seems to already buy everything they want:
A card game or board game.
These can often be used right after they are opened! Utility at its finest.
A few unique suggestions that I personally enjoyed: Sushi Go!, Bang!, Here to Slay.
2. For the one who loves to create her own at-home spa days....
A UV LED nail lamp!
You're helping them save money AND getting them a great product! Plus maybe they'll let you use it every now and then.
3. For the one who's into home decor...
Something personalized.
These work for men, women, and couples! One that I did last year for my stepfather was a personalized cutting board since he loves to grill. A couple of other neat ideas I've seen have been beach towels, coasters, or doormats.

4. For your friend who loves being outdoors and active OR who loves bringing their own coffee to the office...
An insulated water bottle or cup.
These are honestly great for anyone. Seriously, who ever has enough of them?
5. For your friend who just loves taking care of things...
A house plant! (or cactus).
These have been all the rage these days, but with good reason. People love them! If you can, shop local for these from your local plant nursery. This is a great way to support a local business while giving a really thoughtful gift!
6. For your trendy friend who loves to have an accessory to match with everything in their wardrobe, you can't go wrong!
A warm, Sherpa-Lined Beanie.
These are all over Amazon in different colors and styles!

7. For your practical friend who loves spending time at home....
A homemade popcorn maker.
My mom LOVES the one we got her a couple years ago. She uses it several times a week. Additionally, homemade popcorn with a little olive oil is SO much healthier than a lot of the regular popcorn and snacks you can get at the grocery store, so go ahead and show some early support for their inevitable New Year's Resolution by helping them snack responsibly!

8. For that friend who is always tight...
Massage Therapy.
This is another great way to support those in your community who are trying to make a living by providing a service. Be careful that you don't buy this for someone who doesn't like to have strangers touching them though! (I think most of us like it, but there are certainly some who don't!)
9. For that friend who just loves to be in pain...
A bottle of the hottest hot sauce you can find.
Seriously I have no idea why anyone would want this, but when my husband brought some to a white elephant gift exchange last year, it was a hit. Some people are just suckers for pain.

10. Lastly, for the one who really just loves to have a story to tell...
An Experience.
This could take the form of tickets to a comedy club, play, or concert. Tickets may be limited because of COVID-19, but some states are still offering socially distant forms of entertainment. If not this, write them a note about planning to take them apple picking or to visit a national or state park. If any of us have learned anything in the past year of being stuck at home, it is that we need to make time for each other and to have experiences together.

I hope you found at least one of these suggestions helpful for one of the most difficult to buy for you in your circle! I would love to hear from you which one you purchased for a friend or loved one this season. :)
